Our Flight Environment

Time Build Inc is located on the Deland Airport in Deland, Florida right in the center of Florida it is an ideal training airport for pilots. The Deland Airport is none towered facility with four paved runways. Instrument approaches to the airport GPS Localizer only, a VOR/DME and 3 NDB approaches. The airport also has two restaurants located on the field. For more information about the airport visit Deland Jet Center.

Pilots here have excellent opportunities for practice at near by Daytona, Sanford. Orlando Executive Airports with multiple published instrument approaches and a large practice area for learning maneuvers just west of the airfield. This means students don’t have to fly a long distance to practice their skills and they get to spend more time and money learning those skills instead of simply reaching a place to hone their abilities. There are also 500 airports in Florida that also have other types of instrument approaches for training purposes as well as for cross-country flights.

Once a student is prepared, the whole state of Florida becomes their practice ground and they are encouraged to make the most use of it. The high volume of traffic density in Florida helps students prepare for the busy world of commercial aviation. Time Build Inc. also offers training to our students for international flight to the islands of the Caribbean.

The Florida environment is a great one in which to train, as it gets a wide variety of weather. We train our pilots to know when it’s safe to takeoff and to how to operate in the various weather conditions to expose themselves to what they will encounter as corporate or airline pilots after their time building is complete. This exposure to real world weather is another great reason to choose Time Build Inc for time building.
